With each generation of car getting more intricate, there is less relevance with this bulk fitment approach. There are many areas of a vehicle where the hand and blade cannot reach or cut at a safe angle while a designed pre-cut template can often laid without any issues.

In some cases where there aren’t any designed templates, whether a less popular, a rarer vehicle or even some aftermarket components will need hand fitment. In this particular scenario, there isn’t an alternative if the owner wants PPF.
