Carbon 2 front windows

1 - 1.5 hours

Many cars now come with privacy glass as standard. This means that the back doors and rear windscreen is a dyed glass and is already darkened prior to tinting. This privacy glass is often much darker than the legal limit measuring 15 - 20% VLT (darkness.) This leaves the two front windows un-tinted .

Tinting the two front windows we can either match the VLT (darkness) to the same as the privacy glass or 35% VLT which is the legal limit.

Options:

  • Upgrade to Ceramic Heat Rejection Film

  • Different VLT (darknesses)

Carbon Full Car tint

0.5 - 1 FUll Day

If your car does not have privacy glass, it will require a full tint option. This includes the two front doors, rear doors, any rear windows as well as the rear windscreen.

Due to the amount of windows to be tinted, the total time can often take a few hours up to a full day to complete.

In Victoria, the current law for darkness is 35% VLT for the front windows and a darker rating of 20% VLT for the back doors and rear windscreen.

For customers who do not want to have two different ratings on their car, speak to us for more information on the different VLT ratings for your vehicle.

Ceramic fiLM

0.5 - 1 FUll Day

If you are primarily concerned with blocking out the heat in Summer then consider our Ceramic Heat Rejection Film. This film type is manufactured with nano-tungsten particles within the film which allows a far greater heat rejection versus carbon or even metallised film.

Ceramic Film also possesses a greater level of clarity for those who also are seeking a clearer (not darker or lighter) finish.

Ceramic Film is significantly more costly in material and more difficult to install, contact us to discuss a package price for your vehicle.

We also highly recommend applying a product to the exterior glass of your vehicle. Certain products like Gyeon View, will allow give the exterior glass a hydrophobic finish.

This effect will allow a much easier time cleaning, but also repels water during sudden showers in Melbourne. Furthermore, this will help prevent water spotting long term by preventing the build up of minerals from washing your vehicle.
